A small smile pulls at the corner of his mouth when he is hushed and then he nods, "Yes, I do. Things I wanted. Things that could have been. Things that will never be..." Diarmuid bows his head a moment, hiding the lonely look that briefly flashes across his vision. "I don't regret what happened, but sometimes I really wish things had gone differently..."

His wishes are what had lead him to the Holy Grail War, after all, though it addresses only his first and most heartfelt wish. There are other things he wishes for as well. Thankfully, Alyosha's whispered words draw his attention away from those thoughts. It's for the best.

Diarmuid turns his head toward her and smiles, "Well, when you put it that way. Would my comrade be willing to lead me over to one of those chairs before I embarrass myself by falling?"
