Lancelot nods at that, the flicker of a smile staying in place as he shifts his weight. He leans onto one foot just a little, lifts his sword a little then springs forward. His style is the same: Lancelot has careful, precise footwork. Quick, calculated reactions and assessing eyes. He's used to fighting both as a knight and a for the entertainment of others, for money and for his life. So much as he is optimistic and naive at times he does not fight that way -- he fights as someone that has seen every dirty trick someone might use to make sure they survive and, quite possibly, used them himself.

Yet Lancelot is different. He moves with the strength and speed of a servant now, not as a human, and as he reaches Diarmuid he dodges around him, turns and swings his sword toward him sharply.
