Diarmuid is working on his training grounds--unsurprisingly--when Lancelot's note is delivered to him. At first, the vague nature makes him feel that things must not be all that serious. However, the more he thinks on it, the more he begins to wonder if it's not the opposite. That is why Diarmuid eventually decides to leave early.
Besides, it's not like the men don't mind him taking off early considering how much he does every day.
When he makes it to Lancelot's rooms, Diarmuid greets the guards and then enters the room. The guards recognize him by now and so they don't bother him too much. Once he is inside and sees Lancelot dozing over his book, Diarmuid can't help but chuckle softly.
"Shall I come back another time? You and sleep seem to have a date to keep..."
