After the battle, Lén, Seonaidh, and his family return to their homestead, only to find it has been destroyed by fighting and the ground rendered unusable by the Jabberwock's aura of rot. Not knowing what else to do, they seek out Diarmuid for help. Diarmuid speaks with Cu Chulainn who is looking for farmers to work the land around Dun Dealgan and is able to get them a plot of land to work. They make their way to Dun Dealgan with what little possessions they have left and soon are hard at work setting up the land so they can farm when the weather turns warm. Surprisingly enough, 'Old' Maggie is with them and settles into the farm to help watch the children.
The plot of land they are given is smaller than their old homestead and something that Seonaidh can run mostly himself, especially with his wife and 'Old' Maggie around to help with the children. As a result, Lén comes to Diarmuid and requests to be made his assistant to help thank him for all he has done for the family. At first Diarmuid is resistant to this idea because he doesn't feel he needs thanks for doing the right thing, but in the end he relents. While he might not want to admit it, being without his arm is making a lot of things harder...
Lén helps Diarmuid a great deal with building and running his training grounds. He also helps Diarmuid out when he goes to Daonna to find out what he can about the hangings there. Not only does Lén find important information, but he also gets a little roughed up in the process giving Diarmuid a chance to turn the tables a bit on his assistant.

Illness strikes Seonaidh's wife and she sadly dies.
After the death of his wife, Seonaidh, Lén, and the family become increasingly uncomfortable at the farm near Cu Chulainn's castle. When the fact that Lagertha is encouraging farmers to come and settle the land around her watchtower makes its way to Lén, the family decides to move there.
While Lén, Seonaidh, and 'Old' Maggie see to the moving, Diarmuid takes Nichol and Nessa to Leathann to help him put up a shrine to Kaio as part of a task he has taken from Flora. (Note: There is a slight time shift in effect. Timey-wimey and all that...)
Post Game Setting Shift:
Everyone will follow Diarmuid back into the past. They will remain at Lagertha's Tower in Garnet Territory for the most part, along with Diarmuid's animals.
Lén will follow the training grounds to Leathann and split his time between being there, helping at the Tower, and helping with Red Hand things.
