[Pfft...like Diarmuid is going to let that happen. Even if they can't find the stuff for the mooncakes, Diarmuid will make sure that Damian's birthday is a special day spent with friends and family.]

When I left my timeline, it was October 25th.

My birthday's December 3rd. That's 39 days.

[ And he considers the Mid-Autumn Festival close enough to celebrate? ]

It's been...a little over six weeks that I've been here. Got in April 25th, it's June 9th, now. 45 days.

[ He sits back, looks at the numbers. Oh. ]

I'll have to wait until my actual birthday before I can say it--

--but, technically, six days ago, I turned eleven.

I've been borrowing swords while I've been here.

They aren't really that good of a make. But they've worked well enough.

I'd like to have one of my own, though. Something like the wakizashi I had, for Mordred's fight.

Well, as long as Dick isn't going to have my head for getting you a weapon, I don't see why I can't get that for you if that is what you really want. It might take a little while, though.

[Namely, because he is going to make sure the replacement weapon is strong, going to last, nice looking, and maybe even able to stand up better to a Servant's weapons, not to mention sized for a growing boy...]

Do you still have your old one? If so, I would like to look at it for measurements and such...

[ Nonlethal ones. Not that Damian isn't still somehow a magnet for steel with a blatant disregard for human life, who genuinely enjoys a little slicing and dicing and maybe setting enemies on fire. ]
