Of course not. You will always be Fonzy. This will be Fonzy Jr.

[Look at the exaggerated frown he makes at that.]

That cannot be Fonzy Jr.

[Look noticed and ignored. Bad Diarmuid!]

Why can't he be? You made him after all. I am pretty sure when someone makes something, there is a tradition of naming it after the maker.

[Diarmuid, we are not talking about babies here!]

[He gives Diarmuid another look, because they are so not talking about babies.

Though it gives him a thought.]

Doesn't that give me permission to veto the name?

Well, I suppose if you are the mother, I can't deny you that right.

[Oh, Afonso, you so walked into that.]

[Oh god he did.

He's just going to hide his face in his hand.]

[Diarmuid doesn't say anything. He just reaches out and pats Afonso's shoulder. His grin, on the other hand, very clearly says 'Don't worry. I think you will make an excellent mother.'

Sorry, Afonso. At least he doesn't say it out loud.]

[He lifts his head, long enough to see that grin. Then he's hiding his face again.

It would be bad to punch the birthday boy, right? Right.]

[Typically, yes. It is bad form to punch the birthday boy, though Diarmuid would allow it considering he knows he's picking on Afonso and deserves it. However, it would not be advisable to punch Diarmuid even knowing he would allow it. Afonso would likely end up with a broken hand.

Stupid Servant resistances taking the fun out of everything.]

[Well Afonso likes being in relatively one piece. Plus it would be rude to punch a friend so he'll refrain for now.

Even if it was tempting.]

Alright. First of all, Diarmuid, I am not the mother. Secondly, I still veto Fonzy Jr.

[This, of course, is all slightly muffled as he's still face palming. He'd look up but he's fairly sure he's walking into more embarrassment, so he might as well keep his face hidden.]

Thirdly. If I'm anything I'd be a father but I'm not because this is an inanimate object.

But Afonso, you gave birth to it with your own hands. Are you denying your own child?

[Somehow, Diarmuid manages to say this with a very serious face. However, only moments later, he dissolves into a fit of laughter.

Somethings are just too insane to say with a straight face. This apparently is one of them.]

[... He walked right into that, didn't he?

Diarmuid laughs and Afonso gives him another frown. Then he promptly grabs a pillow off the bed and smacking the birthday boy over the head with it.]

[Diarmuid's laughter is broken by a startled sound when the pillow connects with his head. He falls over, hands held up as if to protect himself. Of course, the laughter isn't gone long and soon returns.

He's not going to fight back, this time. He knows he deserves it.]
